AlohaCare is here to assist you with essential health services and supplies if you are impacted by severe weather or an emergency. Please contact us for help with any of the following:
Replacing Medications: We can help refill covered prescriptions that were lost, left behind, or damaged during an evacuation. A one-time emergency medication refill is available.
Medical Equipment & Supplies: We can assist with replacing covered medical items that were damaged or lost, such as oxygen equipment, walkers, or other durable medical supplies.
Transportation Services: We can assist with arranging rides to pharmacies and medical appointments if your usual transportation is disrupted.
Personal Assistance Caregivers: If your caregiver is unavailable due to the emergency and you need backup assistance, we will work with you, local community agencies, or family members to help secure care.
Replacement Member ID Cards: If your AlohaCare ID card was lost or damaged in an emergency, contact us and we will mail you a replacement card.

Be Prepared for Severe Weather
Severe weather events including hurricanes, tropical storms, and tsunamis can affect the islands, with hurricane season running from June through November.
- 14-day supply of non-perishable food and water
- Prescription medications and first aid kit
- Battery-operated or solar-powered radio and flashlights (plus extra batteries)
- Important family documents sealed in a waterproof plastic bag
- Whistles, matches, blankets, tarps, and personal hygiene supplies (including face masks)
- Cleaning and sanitizing products
- Pet food, pet medications, and pet supplies
